PappaRoti Makes Texas Debut In Frisco
Hey y’all, guess what? There’s a new culinary star about to hit our Texas food scene, all the way from Malaysia. Their name? PappaRoti. This unique café, bakery, and coffee shop is renowned for their speciality – coffee buns that’ll give your morning joe a run for its money.
PappaRoti is all set to blossom in the heart of Texas with two locations in the DFW area. First, we’ve got a spot in Frisco at 9188 Prestmont Pl. #100 that’s all geared up to unlock its doors on October 12. Not long after, a twin will emerge in Lewisville at 729 Hebron Pkwy. #240, ready to delight us by the time Halloween comes around.
Now, let’s talk about what makes PappaRoti a palette pleaser. Born in Malaysia in 2003, its hero product is the “roti bun.” But can we call it just a bun? Nah, it’s more like a gastronomic Disneyland for taste buds. Imagine biting into sweet bread baked to perfection with a caramel-coffee glaze. Your teeth meet a crunchy shell first, only to sink into a buttery heart that’s oh-so-rich and soft.
And you know what? They might not be beauty pageant winners to look at. Maybe they seem modest, tan, and pale. But one bite and you realize – these buns aren’t banking on the beauty; it’s all about that delicious sweet and salty dance that’ll make your mouth throw a party.
PappaRoti is not exactly a newbie in the U.S, having set foot in the Chicago area in 2019. It’s already got three thriving locations there.
