The Taste Of Chicago In Addison To Close After 10 Years
After ten years of serving deep dish pizza in Addison, Taste of Chicago, a Dallas restaurant featuring Chicago-style cuisine, is closing its doors at the end of October. A press announcement states that the popular eatery is closing because the facility is being sold. While they won’t completely rule out moving in the future, they will be closing on October 27 for the time being.
Suzana Aljic, general manager of the restaurant, released a statement in which she expressed her sadness over the closure and subsequent eviction from the premises.
We were forced to leave the place we have proudly called home for the last ten years due to the building’s sale to an apartment developer,” Aljic explains. Even though this chapter is coming to a close, we would want to give our devoted patrons and supporters one more chance to savor our cuisine and ambiance.
There will be a celebration of “10 years of unforgettable meals, memories, and shared moments” at the Addison site from October 1–27.
Finding a new location later on is undoubtedly their aim. Even while we would much like to continue serving the community without any interruptions, Aljic notes that due to the abrupt nature of this transfer, we are unsure of the exact date and location of our reopening.
