Plano Food & Wine Festival
Legacy West is one of my favorite spots to visit. After hearing that the Plano Food & Wine Festival would be taking place at Legacy West. It seemed to be a beautiful match. This event did not disappoint, from the great wine choices to the delicious food and joyous atmosphere, it was truly a delight to experience.
Thanks to all participating restaurants. I had a couple favorites of my own. Fogo De Chão Brazil & Ford’s Garage. To be honest, these two restaurants were a hit amongst all who were in attendance.
Fogo De Chao Brazil was a true stand out. It was no wonder why this vendor had such a long line. They served a small plate with bursting flavors of savoring beef, steak, pork, corn, mash potatoes with chopped onions and red peppers. This was indeed a treat. (Full disclosure: Fully Belly)
After having a stuffed belly. I looked over to my left and saw another long line. After discarding my plate, I took a peak behind all vendors lined up in a row. As the beautiful tunes of music and dancing took place behind me. I saw something that caught my attention. It was sliders, good old sliders. Although I was stuffed. I had to make room for sliders.
Now this slider was different from the usual sliders that I eat or sometimes make at home. It had everything on it. Lettuce, red onions, cheese, bacon etc. It was a stacked slider for sure. Once you remove the toothpick, it can become a hassle to bite into it and contain all the fixing at the same time. Never the less it was a hit! Courtesy of Ford’s Garage.
Sorry. Unfortunately I was drinking wine instead of doing my job and taking photos of the wine. I am not a big wine drinker, but I do like a sweeter not so dry wine. My wine of choice was similar to riesling wine.
The RNDC vendors were busy with a long line of festival goers. That Mango flavored beer could not be denied. Although I went back for seconds they only had ginger beer left, which was not bad.
Last and not least, let’s talk about Crab Cakes. Crab Cakes are not something that enjoy, but after being convince by a friend and close bystanders. This Crab Cake was pretty good. Most and very flavorful. Toulouse Cafe & Bar Crab Cakes are not bad at all (Disclaimer:) I would only prefer eating Toulouse Crab Cakes.
I would like to thank all Vendors/Sponsors that contributed to the Plano Food & Wine Festival. Also a special thanks to Kristen Breedlove – Marketing & Sales Manager of SBG Hospitality for our Media Passes.
